Before the fresh breeze of the Fall hit the city, I needed to wear my favorite baby blue midi skirt. Although at the beginning I felt half-naked, I must admit this is one of my favorite looks - flirty, girly and polished. This proves that getting out of your comfort zone sometimes can turn into something great.
Where did I wore this outfit? Well, I needed to take advantage and wore this beauty for Ricardo Seco's fashion show. Yes, a genius/proud mexican designer presenting his collection at New York Fashion Week.
Mexico is rich in culture, colorful clothing, delicious food and joyful people, so this look is just what I needed to wear to represent my country in such an important event. I added a white crop top to make my look more bright and girly; the lace detail on the bottom creates a silhouette that makes the look more sophisticated for the occasion.
Nothing makes me more proud of my country than when I see people fighting for their dreams and making them happen, and so is the case of Mr. Seco and his "Dream" collection presented at the World Trade Center during New York Fashion Week. It was an honor being invited to such an amazing presentation. Looking at his Sporty-chic black and white looks walking down the runway combined with colorful accessories that represent our mexican culture brought a smile to my face and reminded me proudly that #wearemexico !
Love,
