I'm so happy I could shoot in this skirt before the snow covered all the streets and make my everyday outfits an always-must-have-tights-on looks from now on… or at least until it gets a little bit warmer. You know how much I love making my outfits somewhat casual yet presentable and feminine for any occasion so, this time I went for a metallic pencil skirt with a plaid shirt and black leather boots to edgy it up. Score! My boyfriend loved this outfit for me, mainly because he is obsessed with Suits right now and reminds him of Rachel Zane - guess I need to start watching the show.
Speaking of suits and business attire, while I have been focus on my job and my career, one of my new year resolutions is to have time for myself and enjoy today. Simple. I have learned that no matter where you are, if you really want to accomplish something in life it is time to stand up and make it happen. Hard work pays off sooner or later so, it is good to enjoy the present - even though one day you are here and the next one you are somewhere else, there will always be ups and downs but everything do it with joy! Take time to do all your work and then grab a cup of coffee and walk around your neighborhood or get a spa day - Anything that makes you smile!
Afterwards you realize that things that stress you out turn out easier and better when you keep a positive attitude around yourself. Don't wait for tomorrow to realize you missed something important of your days - work hard, be happy and don't be afraid to wear a high-waist pencil skirt!
Love,
S
