Hola México!

Top: H&M / Pants: Quinn / Shoes: Forever21 / Necklace: Serendipia / Bag: Zac Posen

Finally back in Mexico! Actually, first time for me in Mexico city which is way different than the north. Feels so good to, after some chaos, get away and enjoy the simple things in life for a couple of days: Nice weather, delicious food and a good outfit without layers!
I love the fact of mixing oversized sweaters with sandals - it is about keeping the outfit interesting and not so cliché. When you have weather around the 60's it is a must to play around with it.

Love,
S

Oversize it all

The lower the temperature the higher the boots - that is my new motto. Also, the chunkier the sweater… definitely. My skin and body never got use to the extreme low temperatures in the city - no matter how many layers or heat-patches I wore, the cold got me every single time. Thank God for the extra thick modern fabrics! I am amazed that in situations like Fashion Week, no matter the rain, snow or dry-cold air, people will still managed their ways to look fabulous! I personally thought in keeping myself warm, I even had to grab an ultra hot cup of coffee every time and even with that I got compliments - who would've known even coffee could be an accessory. Only in New York.
Luckily I ran away from the cold and came back home - no more layers for a while yet I definitely left a part of me under that snow.

Home is where the heart belongs - I strongly believe in that. No matter what you do or where you do it, sooner or later if its meant to be you will always find your way back. Even as my dad says: "A star will always shine no matter from where you see it."

S

Uphill battle, I look good when I climb
I'm ferocious precautious
I get crackadotious, I'm not gonna stop
I like the view from the top

You talk that
Blah blah that la la, that rah rah sh
And I'm so done, I'm so over it
Sometimes I mess up, I eff up, I hit and miss
But I'm okay, I'm cool with it

I still fall on my face sometimes and I
Can't color inside the lines 'cause
I'm perfectly incomplete
I'm still working on my masterpiece and I
I wanna hang with the greatest gotta
Way to go, but it's worth the wait, no
You haven't seen the best of me
I'm still working on my masterpiece
