Putting red and lace together sounds too daring yet that's why I love ASOS and its variety of unique skater dresses perfect for day-to-night spring situations. Today's dress was actually my Valentine's day outfit (cliché) although that day I styled it with a denim jacket and metallic oxfords - yeah, I like to keep it casual. Afterwards, I never wore it again until a more sophisticated occasion came along and that's when I took off the denim jacket, show off the beautiful back cleavage and added a pair of black Louboutin. I might not be the most dresses-lover but sometimes you just can't deny a good deal.

I love my mom. Like mother-daughter relationships we have our agreements and disagreements yet when she "suggests" something, you better agree otherwise it will be chaos... but in this case she was right. After the cold season I realized (okay, my mom) that my wardrobe was mainly black and, although black will always be the classic-timeless color, once the flowers start to bloom it is time to add another color palette. 
Slowly but happily I agreed with my mom to stop wearing too much black and booties, and start adding some floral prints and pastel colors to my day by day outfits. Blazers are always a good way to start out, they are the perfect sophisticated extra layer to add before leaving the house, Oh and shoes! Instead of buying the same type of pumps try bright colors with different cuts and shapes. You will see how tiny details will change your look completely.

You know those days when you are alone looking at photographs and thinking about making a change in your life? Well, thanks to that I'm always trying to stay positive and slowly but confident I feel like I'm taking one step at a time - working hard, looking at the bright side of everything and every day doing something no matter how small to build up my career. 

Yes, there are days when it is hard to keep your chin up but you know what helps? Putting on a killer outfit! Random, but you will be surprise how something so simple as changing your clothes can turn up your mood for the rest of the day. 

Even on a monday morning, if you really feel like wearing crop top, wear it! If you feel like wearing a crazy printed skirt, wear it! Whatever it takes to keep you smiling during the rough times is always good. I usually never wear sequin tops unless is a special night occasion but why not go out of the box for just one day... No regrets.
