We at The Street Styler want to give you more fashion inspiration every week so we created “Pick of the Week” to show you some of the top trending pieces this season.

Today is all about shades. Summer might be coming to an end but if there’s an accessory to keep adding to your every day outfit it's sunglasses. These Miu Miu sunnies are Miranda Kerr's favorites and the best part of this classy oversized frame is that works perfectly for every face.

Street Beat - CHVRCHES

One band that I have been raving about all summer is CHVRCHES. With good reason though, but if you haven't heard any of their songs, then please skip everything I am about to say and first play the Youtube video below.

Okay, now that you are back and we are on the same note, can we discuss how awesome they are? The Scottish electro pop band (never thought it was possible to describe a band this way) formed in 2011 and has been making their way to the US charts. They have yet to release an album but we can't wait 'til they do. The band is composed of three members, Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty. 

CHVRCHES is set to play in Austin, TX in November and tickets are still available for purchase here.
Fun fact, Costello Tagliapietra used their track, Mother We Share, for his F/W 13 runway show last fashion week. Oh, by the way, only 10 more days until NYFW! Who's excited?

Denim On Denim

After spending another summer away from home I realized how much I still have to learn and to live. Like everything in life there were ups and downs but the experience working, and the people I met, are the priceless rewards that made everything worth it. Now that I'm back and ready to start my last semester in college it's time to keep up the hard work and find street style inspiration at home. 

Today's outfit is for the CollegeFashionista + American Eagle contest (VOTE HERE). My favorite piece of denim has to be my oversized denim shirt but since it wasn't enough I also added my mini denim shorts. I love loose clothes and the way I can mix them with sophisticated pieces like this blazer, making the look more presentable. I might have brought back a little taste of urban style from New York, so stay tuned for more Street Styler wardrobe mixes.
