Not a Day to Wear Black

I love black… always do, always will… but today was not a day to wear black! 

Those days you just want to try something a little bit different even if its just for a day at the park and lunch with your gals. 

I might not have the perfect pear shape body but accentuating my waist with an outfit gives me a nice body form. I love high-waisted pants and skirts so she I found this beauty at Zara it just had to be mine - of course adding a crop top was the best choice. If you don't have a long sleeve crop top, you can always add a short sleeve crop top and wear a long blazer or jacket on top. It will look amazing and you won't be cold on the streets. 

Do not be afraid to wear crop pieces during winter - if you layer it with the correct accessories they will work just perfectly.

The best advice? 

Know your best assets and have fun embracing them in your daily look!

Amo el negro… siempre lo hago y siempre lo haré… pero hoy no fue el día para usar negro!

Esos días que nada mas quieres usar algo un poco fuera de lo normal aunque sea solo para ir al parque o ir a comer con tus amigas. 

Tal vez no tenga el cuerpo perfecto en forma de pera, pero acentuar mi cintura me ayuda a acentuar mi figura completa. Me encantan los pantalones y faldas high-waisted, así que, cuando encontré esta hermosura en Zara tenía que ser mía - claro que agregar un crop top fue la mejor opción para que luciera adecuadamente. Si no tienes un crop top de manga larga, puedes usar un crop top de manga corta y agregar una chaqueta o saco largo encima. Se va a ver increíble y no vas a pasar fríos afuera!

No tengas miedo de usar piezas crop durante el invierno - si usas las capas y los accesorios adecuados van a funcionar perfectamente.

New Year, Same Me

New Year, Same Me. Why to change who you are every year when you can just be the same person in a better version? Last year for me was a roller coaster - moving twice from different countries to the most amazing cities, working with different people in amazing companies, new friends, old friends reunions, and a totally fresh perspective of life. 

This year is not about being a new person but to be the best version of me. To dress for the job I want, to live in the present, to love myself before anyone else and to never let any one stand in the way of my dreams.

Nuevo año, misma yo. Por qué cambiar quien eres cada año cuando simplemente puedes ser la misma persona en una versión mejorada? El año pasado para mi fue como una montaña rusa - me mudé dos veces de diferentes países a las ciudades mas impresionantes, trabajé con diferentes personas en compañías reconocidas, nuevos amigos, reuniones con viejos amigos, y adopté una totalmente nueva y fresca perspectiva de la vida. 

Este año no quiero ser una nueva persona sino ser la mejor versión de mí. Vestirme diario por el trabajo que quiero, vivir en el presente, quererme con todo y antes que a nadie más, y no dejar que nadie se interponga en el camino de mis sueños.

The best part of being in public relations is to get to meet amazing-talented people. Although it might seem hard to find true friends in this chaotic industry, once you meet those people you click with, you never let them go. This shoot was a couple of weeks ago with my amazing-talented friends I was talking about. Gotta Keep Your Head Up

Finally I could get my hands on these incredible photographs that, my friend and professional photographer, Pepe Almazán took of me when I was living in New York City. 

By seeing how amazing this photos turned out to be, not only gave me a smile on my face but it brought a tear - lot of mixed emotions! It is funny how in less than a year a lot of things can happen, things you never thought of and how different yet mature you can turn out to be. 

I am blessed and humble by all the opportunities that life has brought me and all the lessons I have learned throughout this year. I am even more grateful to all the people that has stood by my side during good and bad times and all the incredible new people I met during my journey that I now call friends. 

I look at these photos and hold on to those happy memories I lived and I feel proud of all the things I have accomplished and yet the ones I'm still aiming. 

Like my photos, I stand head-up-high just going forward… and of course, with a fabulous look!

Al fin pude poner mis manos en estas increíbles fotografías que mi amigo y fotógrafo profesional Pepe Almazán me tomó cuando vivía en Nueva York. 

Al ver lo hermosas que salieron estas fotos, no solo me trajo una sonrisa al rostro si no también una lágrima - muchas emociones encontradas! Es chistoso como en menos de un año pueden pasar tantas cosas, cosas que nunca pensaste que pasarían y el como resultaste convertirte en alguien diferente y maduro. 

Me siento bendecida y humilde por todas las oportunidades que la vida me ha dado y por todas las lecciones que he aprendido durante el año. Me siento aun más agradecida con toda la gente que estuvo a mi lado durante los buenos y malos momentos, y a todas esas personas tan maravillosas que conocí durante el camino y que ahora llamo mis amigos. 

Veo estas fotos y abrazo todas esas memorias felices que viví - me siento orgullosa de todas las cosas que he logrado y las que aun me faltan por lograr. 

Así como mis fotos, avanzo con la frente en alto.. y por supuesto con un buen look!
