New city, new looks, new posts: That will be The Street Styler from now on. 

I love blogging about my personal theory of casual yet fun street style - however writing my blog was not my priority number one. I consider myself a workaholic… yes, the first step is to admit it. 

My work has always been my priority: the fact of developing myself into a young professional independent woman is something so exciting and mysterious for what I live every day. They say "Do what you love and never work a day in your life" and that is something I always want my life to be about so, I am starting to find a good balance between my jobs and my blog, which I now see as equals.

As long as I do what I love I can be proud enough to share it with you all - be it my professional career or just some humble styling advice. 

Do what you gotta do to be happy and don't be ashamed of sharing it with the world! You never know who can be inspired.

Nueva ciudad, nuevos looks, nuevos posts: Eso va a ser The Street Styler de ahora en adelante. 

Me encanta bloguear acerca de mi teoria personal de street style casual pero divertido, sin embargo, escribir mi blog nunca fue mi prioridad numero uno. Yo me considero una workaholica… si, el primer paso es aceptarlo. 

Mi trabajo siempre a sido mi prioridad: el hecho de desarrollarme como una joven profesionista independiente es algo tan emocionante y misterioso por lo cual vivo todos los días.  Se dice que "Has lo que amas y no tendrás que trabajar ningún día de tu vida" y esto es de lo que quiero que se trate mi vida, así que, estoy empezando a encontrar un buen balance entre mis trabajos y mi blog, los cuales ahora veo por igual. 

Siempre y cuando haga lo que amo voy a estar orgullosa de compartirlo con ustedes - ya sea de mi vida profesional o solo algún humilde consejo de styling. 

Has lo que tengas que hacer para ser feliz y que no te de pena compartirlo con el mundo! Nunca sabes quien puede inspirarse.

Life in Mexico City is new, mysterious and definitely exciting. While I try to get use to this new lifestyle, like any other travel, I am also learning about myself. Current mood: Black and white - my colors stick to me and my closet in times of transition and dramatic changes. 

I want to invite you all to learn with me about this enormous yet beautiful city full of culture, extraordinary people and incredible sights and architecture.

The Comeback

A great sunny afternoon deserves a quick post. I came back from New York to spend time with my family, hang out with my boyfriend and catch up with my lifetime friends - now that we cleared that out it's time for a come back. 

This is my "in-between-decisions-vacations" post, or at least that's how I call it. I've been taking time for myself between home and the RGV, but now I'm ready to take over once again - this time from the beautiful Mexico City! My grandma says I'm never steady... I say, I am at the right moment, at the right time and at the perfect age to not stay steady. Taking chances and opportunities as it goes it's the most rewarding feeling and, win or loose, the experience of the adventure to the unknown is what makes my life worth it and happy. 

Here at The Street Styler, you will probably see outfit twists and even more colorful backgrounds with the beauty of this city, and even though it will be a challenge at first, I'm sure there's a lot more to come.

Hola México!

Finally back in Mexico! Actually, first time for me in Mexico city which is way different than the north. Feels so good to, after some chaos, get away and enjoy the simple things in life for a couple of days: Nice weather, delicious food and a good outfit without layers!

I love the fact of mixing oversized sweaters with sandals - it is about keeping the outfit interesting and not so cliché. When you have weather around the 60's it is a must to play around with it.
