New hair, new home, new life - time to get back to business. 

Starting over is always exciting. When I say exciting I mean overwhelming, stressful, courageous, happy, emotional, anxious, and many more I can't even describe. It is incredible how many different feelings collide in one person during a short amount of time. Making a transition from one lifestyle to another is hard but is about making a goal into reality - years of work giving results to an amazing accomplished goal. 

Seems surreal when everything happens when you least expect it but when it happens there is no time to loose, no fears to have. One moment, one opportunity that you have to take or it may fade away - so be strong, give it your best smile and take that step forward that is going to mark the beginning of the life you have imagined. 

Time to dress for it!

Everthing at Unique's McAllen

The Street Styler is getting bigger and better than ever. Although we've been absent for a couple of weeks that doesn't mean this is over, yes... it is barely getting started. We are preparing a new logo, new columns and new fun and flirty outfits, so watch how this small street styler project transforms into your styling destination.

On the meantime, I brought you a denim-on-denim outfit, kind of what we wear at Unique's very often since it's the most comfortable, chic, on-the-go look you can ever get. Living in an area where summer lasts more months than winter (with temperatures above the 100's) means wearing less clothes. I wasn't a fan of dresses because I love mix and match all my closet, however, I started to buy them recently because priorities come first and extra time to get ready is not always an option. For those moments when you're running out of time, short flare mini dresses are the easiest to grab and put on; pick a bold color like royal blue, green, hot pink, or even a fun print like this Minkpink dress!

Tall gladiator sandals might not be for everybody so instead you can always use the shorter version or a pair or cut out booties. Why? Because it is fair to look fabulous the whole day!

When I started The Street Styler I thought the website would only be part of my extracurricular activities - my creative way of expressing myself and my independent way to keep updated with the fashion field. Little did I know that opportunities as a blogger come along the way.
