Cold Mornings

These last couple of days I've been waking up to cold mornings, those mornings where you just think about a cup of tea, staying in bed with a blanket and watch your favorite TV shows on Netflix. However, there's always work to do, events to attend and calories to burn at the gym (yes, trying to get the beach body back.) For these chilly days I've been wearing my black leggings with oversized sweaters but then I realized, where's the fun in that? No matter the weather or the laziness there are always creative ways to update your wardrobe; instead of pants or leggings take out your favorite skirt with cool tights or over the knee boots. 

 Even though the bed and your favorite flannel pajama calls your name to stay home, find motivation and think about layers, flirty and fun! Trust me, a cool skirt and killer boots may not be the solution to your problems but they always bright up your day.

Casual Tweed

They say you should take advantage of school and enjoy it as much as you can because once you're out, you'll miss it. I loved school yet I never thought I would miss it. Maybe is because these were the first school days and instead of walking to class like the rest of the students I now have to wake up for work... and maybe to the gym. You start changing one routine for another but the good thing about it is that, besides not doing homework anymore, my school visits would be only to hang around with the friends I left, to talk to the professors that taught me everything I know and even to take some photographs like today's blog post.
Suddenly your four years in college went by and now you're starting a new chapter of huge life changes that only depend on you. At this point feels like slowly but sure, life is giving a full turn and is starting to settle.  Don't over think, don't plan so much ahead; set goals, work hard and let things flow. Sometimes everything turns better than you expect.

Another year passed by, so many changes, experiences and challenges that I wouldn't change for anything. I believe every year gets better and better, and only you can make it that way; the more you believe it the more it will happen. I was blessed to work with amazing companies, to create The Street Styler, to travel, to make incredible friends, but most importantly to have another year of happiness and health and to live surrounded by my family and people that care about me. I was also able to celebrate my first anniversary with my incredible boyfriend and accomplish one of my biggest goals: Graduation. 

Be thankful for all the blessings, all the goals accomplished and even the failures -- those are the ones that made you stand up again and grow. Be open minded, sometimes our plans change for good and turn out better than we expected them to, so receive the new year with a huge smile, a heart full of faith... and a killer dress!
